I need to work on my prepositions, action verbs, subjects, and verb phrases. 3. What strategies in the future might you use to increase your score? Prepositions: You can look in your grammar packet ,but watch out for subordinating conjunctions. Action Verbs: The action verbs are the action words in your sentence. Subjects: The subject in your sentence are always nouns or pronouns. Verb Phrases: Verb Phrases are always two or more verbs working together in a sentence. 4. Identify three specific things that you have learned regarding grammar. One of them is direct objects, they appear with an action verb. The second one is articles, and they are always the words: a, an, the. The last one is nouns, and I know that they're always a person, place, thing, or idea.
